Our Thoughts On WWDC, iOS 5, iCloud And No iPhone 4S - iReview

Watch this week's iReview as we breeze through some of the 200 new features that Apple brings to the table in iOS 5. We also talk about iCloud and why "just works" for all iOS users and we also talk about iTunes Match and why it's worth $25 a year.

In the not so cool section we talk about how dissapointing it was to have Steve Jobs pull his "One more thing" moment for anything but the iPhone 4S we all want. IDC: Windows Phone 7 to Beat iPhone in Market Share by 2015

Here's a head-turning prediction from International Data Corporation (IDC): by 2015, Microsoft's mobile operating system will have achieved greater market share than Apples. How does the IDC justify this claim? It's quite simple. The Nokia collaboration will provide a huge boost to Windows Phone 7 market share thanks to enhanced distribution, great hardware, and plenty of marketing buzz. Additionally, iOS will see a period of decreasing market share unless Apple comes out with new form factors of the iPhone while pushing prices lower to make the phones affordable to more people. In 2015, Android will have the mostmarket share, thanks to the continued rapid pace of innovation on the software end and the support of multiple top-notch OEMs like HTC, Motorola, and Samsung.

Samsung Conquer 4G Tipped as Sprint SPH-D600 Branding

This weekend saw an update of that alleged Sprint inventory sheet featuring unannounced devices and their corresponding release dates, and we've learned that the SPH-D600 on that list will launch as the Samsung Conquer 4G.

A Gingerbread QWERTY slider powered by a single-core 1GHz processor, Conquer 4G has been likened to a low-end Epic 4G: while it shares that model's WiMax capabilities and front-facing camera, it offers just an HVGA (320x480) resolution and 3.1-megapixel primary shooter.

July 24th has been listed as the planned consumer launch, probably at a price point between $50 and $100.

More Reports On Dual CDMA-GSM Capability Of Apple's Next iPhone

There were several reports in the past concerning Apple's next iPhone, the iPhone 5 or the iPhone 4S, especially regarding its alleged upcoming dual CDMA-GSM capabilities.

Latest reports seem to confirm the already existing rumors with some more as Macotakara writes about the iPhone 4S, to be produced in August and launched in September-October, as a hybrid GSM-CDMA. It will reportedly be based on Verizon's current iPhone 4 and will sport a SIM card slot -- yes, we've also heard rumors of no SIM slots but the usage of e-SIMs.

The new iPhone will also allegedly have a smaller front facing Facetime camera hole, "more narrow front receiver slit" and an additional antenna for WiFi N band of 5GHz. It would make sense for Apple to only manufacture one version of the iPhone and not two (a CDMA and a GSM variant) but still, as information is concerned, it is still to be filed under R.

Samsung Singapore Leaks AT&T Galaxy Attain

We know Samsung has trademarked the names for the U.S. carrier variants of the Samsung Galaxy S IIand it appears that Samsung Mobile Singapore, while showing off some Galaxy S II accessories, just leaked the AT&T variant of the smartphone.

It's the AT&T Galaxy Attain, name which was also confirmed later by some other accessories. The smartphone in the image should have not been the point of the image but the desktop dock which looks pretty cool but forgive us if we're more interested in the smartphone itself. Some might argue whether it's the Infuse 4G but taking a look at the power button should convince you otherwise.
