Toshiba has plans of its own as the company decided to leave the joint venture with Fujitsu but the phone above seems to be that one last kick the two companies unleash upon the (Japanese) market. The Fujitsu-Toshiba Arrows Z ISW11F is an Android phone that is also waterproof, headed to Japan's KDDI.
Available in white, black and pink, the phone runs Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread and packs a 1.2GHz dual-core TI OMAP4430 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of ROM, microSD card support for additional 32GB, 4.3-inch HD display with 720 x 1280 resolution, 13-megapixel camera with Sony's Exmor R for mobile backlit sensor, 1.3-megapixelwebcam, WiFi b/g/n, WiMAX/GSM/CDMA-capable radio, HDMI-out, microUSB port, Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR, IrDa, and the obligatory E-wallet and digitalTV tuner for the Japanese market.
Add to everything above the fact that the device is waterproof and you'll get a great device that will be available on the Japanese market in November. Now, can we please have that internationally?

Sony Ericsson announced the Xperia Pro this February and we met it at MWC. It was supposed to be already available but it got initially delayed to July and then to Q4. It now appears that it will be hitting the British market next week.
According to our friends over at Clove, the SonyEricsson Xperia Pro is expected on October 6. For roughly $500 you can get the phone unlocked, packing a 3.7-inch FWVGA screen with 480 x 854 resolution, 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, 320MB of RAM, eight-megapixel camera on the back and two-megapixel webcam on the front. It runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread and it's basically an Xperia Neo with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. What could have been an excellent device this spring or summer turns out to be (unfortunately) a mid-range Android this fall.

Remember those 4G Windows Phone stickersback at the end of July that were printed to accompany future devices on display? Well now we know (at least one) device T-Mobile will have which will run Windows Phone and will be capable of 4G.
The image above is the HTC Radar, but for T-Mobile and under the name of T-Mobile HTC Radar 4G. The boot screen, TV application as well as the "About" screen clearly testify that the Radar, this Radar 4G, will be carried by T-Mobile. Heading over to the source link you'll find plenty of more pictures of the phone, including the one where you can see the signal bar with the 4G label next to it.

An earlier leaked roadmap had RIM's BlackBerry Curve 9360 for T-Mobile already going up for sale by now. Clearly, that September 14 launch date was a bit of an optimistic estimation. Before there was time for another rumor to arrive, T-Mobile's taken the guesswork out of things by making the phone official, announcing plans to kick-off sales on September 28.
We had previously heard about pricing for the Curve 9360 on T-Mobile prepaid, and estimated at the time that the on-contract subsidized price for the phone might fall in the $50-$150 region. It turns out the smartphone will end up on the more affordable side of that spectrum, with plans to sell the 9360 for just about $80 with a two-year commitment and rebates. If you want to get a head-start on things, T-Mobile business customers can get their pre-orders for the phone beginning today. Later down the road, there are plans to introduce a merlot-colored edition of the phone on October 12.
The Curve 9360 is definitely the weakling of the new pack of BlackBerrys, and the lack of a touchscreen will turn off some users, but the familiar design and the pricing could win it some fans. Then again, with the Bold 9900 already going on sale for just $100, it could take more than that to turn users on to the 9360.
