Two of the hottest phones that run on Verizon's 4G LTE network right now are the HTC Thunderbolt and LG Revolution. Both have similar spec sheets with a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU and they're also both priced at $249 on Verizon, but in terms of performance, hardware and software, there are many differences. In this comparison video we cover web browsing, speed benchmarks, hardware, software, HD video recording, boot-up time, and more. Stick around to the end of the video to see the HD video samples.
Droid X2 Software Review (Video)
In this video we demonstrate the software of the Motorola Droid X2 which ships with Android 2.2.2 and anew version of MotoBlur which many consumers will probably favor over the previous version. While some of the apps that come preloaded on the Droid X2 are trials, which can be removed without rooting, some are quite useful such as DLNA, Data Usage, Mobile Hotspot, and other core Android apps.
Verizon has also added their own apps in the mix, but thankfully most of the trial apps are able to be removed by uninstalling. This open approach will probably appeal to more of our power users or anyone that finds proprietary software obnoxious. For other Verizon apps which are not able to be uninstalled, theGingerBreak root will help out.
Stay tuned for a couple comparisons between the Droid X2 and other popular smartphones. If you missed it check out the unboxing and hardware review videos.

Motorola Droid 3 Coming On July 7?
The Motorola Droid 3 already appeared in Best Buy's computer system back at the beginning of May but so far we don't know anything exact regarding its release date, though it shouldn't be far off.
According to Droid-life sources, the Motorola Droid 3 is being targetted by Verizon for a July 7 announcement date. While this still belongs in the Rumor category though, popular smartphone game producer Gameloft has added the phone as the "Motorola XT862 Droid 3" to their list of compatible devices. The codename fits as the Droid 3 surfaced with the same numbering on NenaMark's website a month ago.

Nokia N8 Getting 30FPS Video And Continuous Auto-Focus
The Nokia N8 smartphone is very well known for its exceptional camera quality allowing the device to take fabulous pictures almost on par with professional cameras thanks to its Carl Zeiss optics.
Nokia's mobile camera guru Damien Dinning was talking unofficially about the N8's camera and mentioned that the smartphone will be getting an update. The refresh will further improve the already great camera but this time in terms of video capturing as 30FPS would be added for smoother playback as well as continuous auto-focus. "There wil be an N8 specific update coming which will. You need the code from Anna though" says Damien and we can't wait for it to get out there on the phones.
