BlackBerry Torch 2 Caught On Film

RIM's BlackBerry Torch 2 has managed to keep a relatively low profile, showing up on video last month, but largely managing to stay off the radar. The camera-shy smartphone was bound to pop back up sooner or later, and sure enough, an evaluation unit of the Torch 2 has just put in a blurrycam appearance. 

The new Torch successor will launch with BlackBerry OS 7, which itself leaked earlier this week. With leaked specs claiming the phone will have a 1.2GHz CPU, 768MB of RAM, and HD-video-capable camera, the Torch 2 will be among the upcoming BlackBerry smartphones with a much-needed hardware boost to keep them competitive against new models on the other major smartphone platforms. 

While these pics don't show off much of the Torch 2, nor depict it in great detail, the source behind the pics claims that better imagery is on its way shortly. With a release expected for sometime in July, you can bet we'll be seeing a whole lot more of the Torch 2 in the weeks to come.
