Around a month or so ago, on July 21, Microsoft updated on the status of the Marketplace. At that time, Redmond promised that Mango-specific application submissions to the Marketplace will be possible in a month's time.
Now, around one month later, the Windows Phone Marketplace is open to Mango-specific app submissions. "The infrastructure for accepting your Mango apps is coming online as we speak", says Todd Brix so you might even already see new content on your phone. The Blog promises more details on the Mango submission in the next 24 hours. Now all we need is the Mango update itself for wave 1 devices and the wave 2 devices themselves.
