More Reports On Dual CDMA-GSM Capability Of Apple's Next iPhone

There were several reports in the past concerning Apple's next iPhone, the iPhone 5 or the iPhone 4S, especially regarding its alleged upcoming dual CDMA-GSM capabilities.

Latest reports seem to confirm the already existing rumors with some more as Macotakara writes about the iPhone 4S, to be produced in August and launched in September-October, as a hybrid GSM-CDMA. It will reportedly be based on Verizon's current iPhone 4 and will sport a SIM card slot -- yes, we've also heard rumors of no SIM slots but the usage of e-SIMs.

The new iPhone will also allegedly have a smaller front facing Facetime camera hole, "more narrow front receiver slit" and an additional antenna for WiFi N band of 5GHz. It would make sense for Apple to only manufacture one version of the iPhone and not two (a CDMA and a GSM variant) but still, as information is concerned, it is still to be filed under R.
