Samsung Galaxy W Headed To T-Mobile As The T679?

At the end of August, just a week before the IFA 2011 in Berlin, Samsung announced four smartphones to join the manufacturer's Android line-up. Among those, the Samsung Galaxy W, a phone in the "W" category of Samsung's new smartphone naming scheme describing a "high-tier" device, just a step down from the "S" category.

A certain Samsung T679 has passed FCC on-route to T-Mobile and as you can see from the image above, the outline fits perfectly with that of the newly announced Samsung Galaxy W. That being the case, the Galaxy W runs Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread, sports a 1.4GHz processor, 3.7-inch WVGA screen, five-megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and has a 1500mAh battery.
