Is This The Upcoming iPhone Back Part?

The whole "Apple moving the flash away from the lens" story started with a picture of an alleged case for the upcoming iPhone and we told you yesterday how you'd benefit from such a move. Your pictures would come out cleared and with less red-eyes.

A picture of an alleged iPhone 4S back part surfaced on the Internet (and might just as well be a fake one, so treat accordingly). You can see two distinct holes in the case, one for the camera lens on the left -- same place as the iPhone 4 -- and one for the flash on the right -- as we illustrated recently. Whether this will be the real deal or not is still to be confirmed but one thing's for sure: where there's smoke there must be fire. And of course, such a smart move by Apple would rely on basic photo theory.
