Vodafone Smart, a cheap Android 2.2 smartphone by Huawei

A new Vodafone branded phone to cost less than €100.

Vodafone has just announced a new Android 2.2 smartphone that is simply a re-branded Huawei U8160 and will be named Vodafone Smart.

The Vodafone Smart has a 2.8-inch QVGA (320x240) capacitive display, a 528MHz Qualcomm MSM7225 processor, 130MB of internal memory and microSD slot, 2Mpx camera, 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, all packaged in a compact black or white chassis and ready to hit the European Vodafone markets at a suggested price of about €90.
