Motorola Droid X users finally got their chance to officially move on up to Gingerbread right around the start of June. Even after a public test of the update, though, the release ran into its share of problems, including some reports we heard of it bricking users' phones. Since then, Droid X owners have been noticing some newly-introduced bugs in the software. Now a new update is available with the intent of correcting these problems, but does it follow-though?

Users who have installed the release report a mixed bag of success in putting a stop to the handset's bugs. Some problems, like an inability for the phone's camerato recall previous resolution settings, don't seem to have been corrected.
