The first Ice Cream Sandwich stock device may be released in December and made by HTC.
A photo of the third Nexus smartphone has appeared today thanks to the guys at Tech Hog who claim to have a friend in the Android Dev Labs, and according to them the device is being manufactured by Taiwanese HTC. Due to be released in December, the Nexus 3 is going to be the first device running Ice Cream Sandwich and will be the referral for all 2012 as the Nexus S is being for 2011.
This is not yet the final version, but what’s interesting to note is the lack of the Android buttons below the display. Also, the source says they are testing the device on both HSPA+ and CDMA networks, suggesting a launch on both the global market and the American carrier Sprint, which later is getting closer to Google and is rumored for a possible acquisition by Big G.
