Windows Phone Mango Still Misses Tethering Support

As Microsoft strikes out our entries for the Mango missing features one by one, tethering still remains a feature many users are longing for, regardless if it's wireless or via USB. Chances are that tethering is one of the other four hundred something features that were not demoed at Mango launch.

With the occasion of an informal discussion, Achim Berg, Corporate Vice President of Windows Phone Marketing, said he "has regretted not getting the Windows Phone 7 team to include tethering in the new Mango update". "It's been clear today that people want tethering support" said Berg and there were even rumors it will be included with Mango. Fingers crossed Microsoft adds this until autumn -- if not already added -- as many Windows Phone users need to carry around another smartphone -- or even leave the Redmond-powered device at home -- in order to share its internet connection.
